CALS Ambassadors

The College of Agricultural and Life Science has many staff and faculty working hard to foster a quality student experience.

We have chosen to launch a series highlighting the CALS Academic Programs Office, starting with the Assistant Director of Recruitment, Audra Cochran.

Join the team for a free dinner and learn more about what it is to be an Ambassador. This event is not mandatory to attend to apply for an Ambassadorship, rather it's a time for you to learn more!

Students had a great time last weekend on campus during Ag Days attending workshops and livestock judging, among many other activities. Congratulations to our Social Media Contest Winners Alexis Alverson and Jaime Gerthung! And a huge thank you to all the staff, faculty, students and volunteers who made this event possible!

We celebrated with the campus community today during the official dedication of the new Integrated Research and Innovation Center. researchers Louise-Marie Dandurand and Daolin Fu are among the college's first to occupy space in the building. Dandurand's research team is working on the GLOBAL project, an international effort to find new ways to combat the pale cyst nematode. Fu is establishing the Genomic Editing and Transformation Lab to encourage broader collaboration among genetic researchers across campus, particularly those who are plant-focused.
