To all my Veteran brothers and sisters out there (past and present), thank you for your service. Thank you for your dedicated sacrifice for this great nation. Thank you for being willing to put on the uniform and wear it proudly. I stand with so many others this day to salute those we’ve lost and to recognize their bravery; you are not forgotten. I stand to salute those who made it home, and who are fighting other battles everyday. Happy Veteran’s Day!!

Today was a great day!

Students who signed up had the opportunity to spend the day at the Boise VA Medical Center, participating in a Wills Clinic. This was a great experience, not only in the practical application of drafting a Will for someone but in doing it all pro bono. What a great way to give back.

We helped many veterans and their spouses create Wills. We had a good turnout of volunteer law students from the University of Idaho College of Law and attorneys from the area. I can't wait to do it again

Today, we remember the lives lost on 9/11/2001, and the countless families who were impacted by this tragic event. Let us not forget what happened when the smoke cleared and how we, The American People, came together like never before.

May we never forget this tragic day and the brave individuals who risked their lives, both without knowing it and who did so trying to save the lives of others.

Happy Independence Day Everyone!! What a great blessing it is to live in America and to enjoy the freedoms that we have. Thank you to all who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this great nation. Thank you to those who have served and are currently serving.

Here are the VA's 2021 General Legal Clinic dates. This clinic is run in conjunction with the VA and the Idaho Military Legal Alliance (IMLA) and is free for Veterans. If you are a Veteran, feel free to sign up and if you are an attorney interested in assisting Idaho's Veterans, please contact the IMLA or the VA.

For the beginning of 2021, our Legal Clinic will continue to be a phone clinic.

ATTENTION 1Ls and 2Ls: The application windows for the Graduate Law Program (1Ls) and the One Year College Program (2Ls) are open!

Participating in AFROTC during law school is a great path to become an Air Force JAG. Benefits include: (1) early exposure to military life; (2) knowledge that you have a job waiting for you; and (3) you commission as soon as you graduate law school and finish AFROTC requirements.

The online application is due January 10th, 2020, and your interview with an SJA must be completed by February 1st, 2020. Don't forget that you have to complete your interview with the AFROTC Detachment Commander before you submit your application online. Everyone who is interested should focus on completing the AFROTC Detachment Commander interview in November and December of 2019.
