Good afternoon everyone!

The Amnesty International Club at the University of Idaho is a student group that operates under the structure of the human rights organization Amnesty International, headquartered in London, England. The mission of this organization is to educate others about human rights abuses, advocate for policy reforms related to human rights, and fundraise for victims of human rights violations. While our parent organization works collaboratively with the chapter to identify initiatives, the Amnesty International Club at the University of Idaho acts independently when deciding what projects or initiatives it will pursue.

We are holding bi-weekly meetings beginning October 20th! We will be discussing officer positions, potential projects for this semester, more details about what we will be doing as a club and answering any questions you might have. Please email me or my co-chair Jake with any questions or with your contact information if you are interested in being added to our email list and attending our next meeting!
