IML Visits Girls Inc 06/15/2026

The Imagination Library Bus made a special stop at Girls Inc., bringing books, excitement, and a love of reading to students of all ages!

The visit began with a discussion about how the bus came to be, followed by clues from four Girls Inc. participants who had previously toured the bus at their schools. Their hints sparked plenty of curiosity and excitement before everyone got a chance to explore for themselves.

While middle and high school students boarded the bus to "shop" for books, our kindergarten through second-grade readers enjoyed a fun read-aloud. Then it was everyone's turn to climb aboard and choose a free book to take home. Even the adults got in on the fun and selected books of their own!

From discovering new stories to sharing a love of reading, the day was filled with enthusiasm, imagination, and smiles. Thank you, Girls Inc., for welcoming the Imagination Library Bus and helping us inspire lifelong readers!
