IML Visits Innovative Therapy Solutions 07/26/2026

What a wonderful day at Innovative Therapy Solutions! A few rain showers tried to interrupt our fun, but they couldn't stop the smiles! The Imagination Library Mobile Bus rolled in, and every student had the opportunity to visit the bus, hear a story, and pick out a book to take home.
We hosted three read-aloud sessions as different groups of students arrived, sharing the joy of reading with each one. By the end of the day, every student left with a new book in hand and a smile on their face.
Thank you to the Imagination Library Mobile Bus for bringing the magic of books and helping inspire a lifelong love of reading. Rain or shine, it was a day to remember!!

The Imagination Library Mobile Book Bus was honored to be part of the Tennessee Valley Housing Authority's Back to School Bash on July 16th!

While the Mobile Book Bus couldn't be on-site due to limited parking, our mission never stopped. We had a great selection of books, giving both children and adults the chance to choose a book to take home and enjoy.

Together, we helped serve 76 students, who received school supplies generously provided by the Tennessee Valley Housing Authority. Along with classroom essentials, families also left with a new book to spark imagination, encourage learning, and create special family reading moments.

We're grateful for community partnerships like this that help support local families and inspire a lifelong love of reading. Thank you, Tennessee Valley Housing Authority, for including us in such a wonderful event!
Together, we're building brighter futures—one book at a time.

IML Visits Girls Inc 06/15/2026

The Imagination Library Bus made a special stop at Girls Inc., bringing books, excitement, and a love of reading to students of all ages!

The visit began with a discussion about how the bus came to be, followed by clues from four Girls Inc. participants who had previously toured the bus at their schools. Their hints sparked plenty of curiosity and excitement before everyone got a chance to explore for themselves.

While middle and high school students boarded the bus to "shop" for books, our kindergarten through second-grade readers enjoyed a fun read-aloud. Then it was everyone's turn to climb aboard and choose a free book to take home. Even the adults got in on the fun and selected books of their own!

From discovering new stories to sharing a love of reading, the day was filled with enthusiasm, imagination, and smiles. Thank you, Girls Inc., for welcoming the Imagination Library Bus and helping us inspire lifelong readers!

IML Visits Girls Inc Fun day with this group of girls!

Summer reading fun was in full swing as Imagination Library partnered with Tennessee Valley Housing Authority to inspire a love of reading among local children!

Participants enjoyed two exciting books and completed two hands-on activities that encouraged creativity, learning, and friendship.
Through stories and interactive experiences, children explored new ideas while strengthening their reading skills.

To top it all off, every child went home with a FREE book to continue the adventure and help build their home library!

Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make this summer reading program a success. Together, we're creating opportunities that foster literacy and a lifelong love of reading.

A milestone moment for the Hamblen County Imagination Library Mobile Book Bus!
Recently, we made our very first visit to a middle school—Westview Middle School—and what an incredible experience it was!
