Reflection:

With the new year here there’s a lot to reflect on. Some things we accomplished👏and other things not the outcome we wanted to end the year with. But thats okay.

I’ve always been a strong believer in creating your own Destiny.

Just like the old saying goes - “Grab the bull by the Horns.”🐃 We need to be accountable for our own actions.

🚨You can’t wait if you want something to happen.
You need to take control and take the necessary actions to make it a reality.

Now is the time to set new goals.

✨Go get that job promotion
✨Go back to college
✨Ask out your crush
✨Start up your Fitness Journey

Whatever the goal is.. NOW is the time to execute.

.Remember it won’t happen unless YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Here we have a traditional barbell “45lbs”.

It is used for countless exercises we do everyday such as bench press, squats, bicep curls, military presses, deadlifts - the list goes on..

When we workout, we think we have to do the same exercises over and over to get the results we want.

Like most of you, doing the same exercises repetitively can lose its fun and ultimately leave you unmotivated.

This is why I like to change it up every now and again.

Let’s take this 45lb barbell and shake things up.

1. Reverse lunge to press - this exercise is a variation of a reverse lunge with a new focus on shoulders.

2. Land mine squat press - this exercise takes a traditional squat, and makes it an explosive movement similar to a sn**ch. This is great for explosive power.

3. Landline oblique Twist - This is a core dominant movement with a focus on the obliques. The added rotation from each side increases shoulder activation.

4. Core press - This is another ab movement with a focus on the Re**us abdominals. The added overhead press further engages the core.

The next time you find yourself in a slump try out these “new exercises.”
