Good Morning! Due to construction, the Union Street entrance to the Grundy County Administration Center is closed today (Monday, August 3).

For today only, please use extra caution when entering the parking lot via School Street. This entrance is normally designated as an exit only, as indicated by the posted signage.

Despite the construction, we are open and look forward to serving our community as usual. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

We are so incredibly lucky to have so many community partners and other County agencies coming to support the Kendall County - National Night Out/Cruise Night event with live music by American English Beatles Tribute!

The Morris Police Department will host National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5-8 pm in Goold Park! The event is free to the public and the first 500 kids will receive a goodie bag and Foam Finger! This year’s tag line is “Game on, Morris!” with a sports theme. Kids are encouraged to wear the uniform of the team they participate in (Warriors, Cheer, Baseball, etc.) or of their favorite pro team.

We are proud to share that Grundy/Kendall ROE #24 is a Promotional Partner with the GPS Parent Series: Navigating Healthy Families—one of the nation’s premier parenting resources.

For more than 30 years, the GPS Parent Series has connected parents, educators, professionals, and communities with world-renowned authors, clinicians, and researchers who provide practical, research-based guidance on the most important issues facing today’s youth and families. Through this partnership, our [members/families] have free access to over 50 programs each year, covering all ages and stages—from early childhood through adolescence and into college and career planning.

Programs are offered at noon and 7 p.m. CT, available in four languages, and include virtual, hybrid, and in-person opportunities—making it easy for everyone to participate.

Together with GPS, we are committed to supporting the well-being, resilience, and success of every family. We encourage you to take advantage of this valuable resource and share it with others in our community.
