Rest is not always stillness.

Sometimes rest looks like:
dancing in your kitchen,
getting out in the sun,
turning off the noise,
riding the wave of your emotions instead of fighting them,
or finally giving your ADHD brain the mental and sensory rest it actually needs.

I stopped trying to regulate my ADHD with pressure and started finding my rhythm instead.

That’s when the brain fog started lifting.
That’s when the clarity came back.
That’s when I stopped feeling at war with myself.

I stopped managing my ADHD with pressure and started finding my rest rhythm.

Not just physical rest.
Mental rest.
Sensory rest.
Creative rest.
Emotional rest.

That’s when the brain fog started lifting and I stopped feeling like I was drowning in my ADHD and finally learned how to ride the wave instead.

It wasn’t just about challenging my thoughts. It was about regulating my nervous system, riding the wave of my emotions instead of fighting them, and giving my brain the mental, sensory, and emotional rest it needed to finally find more clarity and focus.

ā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļøšŸ˜±šŸ˜±I’ve been a walking contradiction for a long time. Struggling with physical rest and transitions for over 36 years.

But I now know finding the rest rhythm that works for my ADHD brain and rest boundaries that protect my boundless creative energy are essential for mental clarity and focus.

I’ve spent years trying to follow through using planners, alarms, time blocks, and every app on the planet.

None of it worked.

Not because I’m lazy.

Not because I’m inconsistent.

Not because I ā€œdon’t try hard enough.ā€

It didn’t work because I was EXHAUSTED.

When your nervous system is fried, even the simplest task feels impossible. You freeze. You disappear. You shut down. And then you shame yourself for it.

So here’s the truth I’m finally building my work around:

šŸ‘‰ ADHD isn’t a productivity problem.

It’s an exhaustion problem. An expectation problem.

That’s why I’m sharing a podcast that focuses on one thing:

ADHD… But Rested.

Presence over pressure. Presence over perfection.

Because the only way to boss your ADHD better…

is to stop living exhausted.

If you’re tired of forcing yourself to be ā€œconsistentā€ā€¦

If pressure makes you shut down…

If perfection keeps you from starting anything at all…

You’re not broken.

You’re burnt out.

And there’s another way.

I’m talking about this more soon podcast, framework, tools all built for real ADHD brains (mine included). If this feels like you, comment RESTED so I know to keep going.

ADHD + Dance (or any movement)= one of the most powerful combinations nobody talks about.
If you have ADHD, the dance floor isn’t just about weight loss it can literally change how your brain functions.
After a dance workout you might notice: ⚔ Your mind feels clearer
🧠 You can focus longer
😊 Your mood improves
😌 Stress drops
😓 Sleep gets better
That’s because movement boosts dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin the exact chemicals ADHD brains often struggle to regulate.
For many of us, movement isn’t optional self-care… it’s brain management.
The crazy part? Even 20–30 minutes of walking can make a difference.
Your brain will thank you.
If you have ADHD, what type of movement helps you focus the most? šŸ‘‡

I’m looking for one adult ADHDer who’s ready to change their life and relationships.

You’re not lazy or unmotivated.
You’ve just never learned how to lead yourself and right now, you’re being a terrible CEO in life.

Too many projects. 10 tabs open. No real rest.

My Boss Yourself Better method helps ADHDers:

• Recover from burnout (with real rest like Yoga Nidra + rest coaching)
• Find your rested, turned-on voice in your relationships
• Make confident decisions in relationships, work, daily life.
• Get honest about your capacity and build a plan you’ll actually follow with energy and conviction

This isn’t about getting your life together overnight.
It’s about finally moving forward from burnt out to turned on by your life again.

This week, I’m offering one free 30-minute clarity + reality check session, including a short 5-minute guided Yoga Nidra (deep rest meditation) as well as movement practice to reset your system before we talk strategy.

Comment BOSS if you are an ADHDer and you’re ready to stop spiraling and start leading.
