At Poised we believe kids need room to try, problem-solve, get frustrated, laugh, and try again. It isn’t always about getting the right answer - it’s about becoming the kind of person who knows what to do when things don’t go as planned.

And yeah…apparently trial and error does, in fact, involve error 😂 And that’s part of the journey!

The 2026-2027 season of learning has begun ✨

For some the first day looks like riding horses through a meadow, kicking a soccer ball, taking a pottery class, or hiking up a mountain on an archery hunt 🏹

Different kids, different passions, different paths! But the same thing is happening - they’re learning in their own unique way.

The start of the school season at Poised doesn’t mean putting life on hold, it means we’re engaging with it 🙌🏽

No Monday blues or Sunday scaries over here. And definitely no rushing to “get back to normal” with the start of the new school year 🙌🏽

It’s “back to school”…but our education doesn’t look like the rest because our way of learning fits into real life ✨

We’re keeping the adventure, keeping the curiosity, and keeping the freedom to follow what kids love and letting the learning happen as they go!

A word from Poised Founder, Jill 🤍

“Sometimes life reminds us that the lessons we teach are also the ones we must live. A few weeks ago, I was in a serious accident that has me focusing on rehabilitation and healing. Because of that, the creation of our H.I.V.E journeys will be postponed until November 1st. While this isn’t the timeline I had planned, I know I need to practice what we believe at Poised: caring for the whole person, honoring the season you’re in, and trusting that even the most unexpected detours can have purpose.
Thank you for your grace, encouragement, and patience. I can’t wait to be back creating meaningful journeys for our students this fall. Until then, I’m embracing the journey of healing.” - Jill 🤍
