This is for EVERYONE, not just low income families. With the price of gas and groceries, this program will help Rowan county families and keep children fed throughout the county. Sign up today!

☀️ Rowan County Schools is excited to announce our participation in the 2026 Summer Feeding Program — SUN Meals! 🍎🥪
This summer, we’re making it even easier for families by offering a convenient non-congregate meal option. Each week, children ages 1–18 can receive:
✅ 7 Breakfasts
✅ 7 Lunches
—all distributed on one day to help support your family throughout the week!
📍 Pick-Up Location: Rowan County Preschool
🗓️ Thursdays in June: June 4, 11, 18, & 25
⏰ Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
While preregistration is not required, it is strongly encouraged! Preregistering helps us prepare the correct number of meals and allows parents/guardians to pick up meals without children being present.
⚠️ Please note:
• Children receiving meals at this non-congregate site cannot receive meals at any other Summer Feeding Program site.
• If you choose not to preregister, children must be present during the first pickup.
(Non-congregate meals are meals distributed at approved sites for participants to take and enjoy off-site.)
