Gal's Guide to the Galaxy

I made this a few weeks ago while thinking about life, the universe, and everything.
Social media posts can sometimes be seen as the pinnacle, the top view that trickles down to influence us. It's something that is "high above" something to "reach for" or "attain".

Then there is real life, which feels like you're in a little dinghy heading straight for an obstacle that you can no longer avoid. This whole real life thing is vast, it has high points and low points. Mostly you're just trying to keep your head above water.

But Gals Guide built a little submarine (maybe it's a yellow submarine, that's right, sing the song in your head!) Anyway, the Gals Guide submarine can go deeper, it can see the danger of obstacles in our path, it can see the navigation needed, it can also see the wisdom in a journey - that what is on the surface is not the same as the problems underneath.

Gals Guide takes the route of deep thinking.

And that's why I struggle with social media because I don't have a great one liner for you to take a Gals Guide class with us. What I have are images, maps, questions, and amazing stories that can help navigate a better human life. I'm teaching Gals Guide classes this fall and I'd like to take you on a little submarine ride to deeper thinking.

The Awesome Foundation Cass Clay was featured in the local paper on Saturday!! Happy 10th anniversary. We’re so lucky to have been a recipient.

Yayoi Kusama has passed away. 😿The polka-dot queen was 97 years old. She will be deeply missed.

We highly recommend the documentary Kusama: Infinity (2018) to learn more about Yayoi's battles, successes, and influence in the world of art and pop culture.
