Merry Christmas to all my amazing current and past families! Hope the holiday season finds you wrapped in the love and joy of your little ones.
We are keeping the holiday spirit going over here with Reindeer food. This is my guy Chase (9), I think my times clicking down on his excitement to put the reindeer food out. But I will continue to find joy through the excitement of the daycare children as they tell their stories about it each year.

End of the Summer bash 2024! The days flew by and were really busy so pictures were very limited, but lots of fun was had to end out our summer!!!

Monday we camped out in the back yard in our tents all day long and tie dyed some pillow cases, we came inside to have a picnic lunch away from the bees and enjoyed Smores as part of a snack.
Tuesday we had some beach day fun. We enjoyed the day in our swim suits, made our traditional sand castle cake, and enjoyed some of water play.
Wednesday the rain put a damper on our Carnival day but we made the best of it inside and kept busy playing games.
Thursday was way more low key with a pj and movie day.
And Friday we put on our favorite superhero and princess gear and built a nice big fort to play in.

We had an amazing week and it was a nice way to close out our summer and wish goodbye to our friends heading off on new journeys!

Merry Christmas to all of you!
Hope everyone has an amazing Christmas this year!!! Each year we make reindeer bags and fill them with reindeer food (Oatmeal and sprinkles). Then we send them home with kiddos to sprinkle on their own lawn on Christmas Eve. Our little note attached reads…

Just sprinkle on the lawn at night
The moon will make it sparkle bright!
As Santa's reindeer fly and roam
This food will guide, them to your home!

As tradition I try and snap a picture of my kiddos out sprinkling their food out and would love for you to add your pictures if you’re able to in the comments. So fun to see how excited they are as they prepare for Santa’s arrival.

Last update to our End of Summer Bash- we closed out our Friday with Super Hero/Princess day. We enjoyed a dance party, fort/kingdom building, and some super hero bean bag toss.

Rainy gloomy days are meant for blankets, a movie, and popcorn. We also finished up our Tie-Dye cinch sack bags!

Wrapped up a day of outside play with Campout day. Played in our tent city with our stuffed animals and camping gear, had a blast squishing Orbeez (gel beads)being our day was much too busy yesterday to get the chance to enjoy them, and we had an indoor picnic lunch to avoid the bees from bothering us while we ate. Bring on pjs, a movie, and popcorn tomorrow!!!

Color Day was a messy success!!
We spent our day outside loving the outdoors while we Tie-Dyed (Pictures of our results to come later) and we had a color run! The kids had so much fun and giggled lots about their color bodies! That was one for the books!!

St. Patrick’s Day!
We had a day fun and shenanigans! Kids were welcomed to the crazy green streamers all over the house, which made lots of fun for tearing down and having a dance party. They got busy right away trying to catch that tricky leprechaun by building boxes and at coin trail. They did manage to capture him in a box, but it wasn’t strong enough to keep the little trickster in. We completed projects, danced our crazies out, devoured the green yogurt that the sneaky leprechaun colored, paused to take the smallest bit of sleep possible so that we could keep the fun rolling, laced some fruit loops in colorful patterns, and calmed down with some St. Patrick’s day coloring. Hopefully the kiddos are wound down for the evening and have shared their stories of their fun for the day.

We had some fun with Dr.Seuss the last couple of weeks. The kiddos discovered they really DO like Green eggs and ham. They’ve even continued to use the idea that they may like it if they try it during meal times. Isn’t it funny how the simple message in a book hits home sometimes?!?!?
We also got to enjoy being read to by a special guest “The Cat in the Hat” (my Mom Deb Heck 😁).
