🎶 Young Artists Solo Recital 2026! 🎶 What a memorable evening celebrating classical music and young talent! 🎹🎻 We were delighted to hear pieces by Clementi, Strauss II, Brahms, Grieg, Bach, Beethoven, and Dvořák to mention a few. Of our participating students, we had 17 pianists, 10 violinists, 3 cellists, and 1 violist. This poor project sat unattended on the easel long enough that it probably began to consider that its home! 😂 It has finally acquired a place on the studio wall - that is, at least until the warm weather truly kicks in. While working on this painting, I continued to marvel at God’s wisdom and kindness in creating a world with such depth and contrast for us to enjoy and to first discover His glory. This valley called to mind Psalm 23 and God‘s care for us, His people, - not just for our earthly needs, but His care for the health and strengthening of our souls. “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul.” - Psalm 23:1-3 “You have granted me life and lovingkindness; and Your care has preserved my spirit.” - Job 10:12 02/21/2026
