‼️New Class 🔔 Drone Land Search Task Force. This is a two day class that integrates drones with Sartopo, 2D orthomosiac mapping, team coordination and ground teams for a land search.

As a DJI user and longtime fan, this is really interesting to see. It looks like the FBI has a DJI M30T sitting on the table. I was under the impression federal agencies could only operate NDAA-compliant drones because of the national security concerns surrounding DJI. Curious what everyone’s thoughts are on this.

🔥 Big news — Darkwing Drones has teamed up with EagleEyes Search to bring their software platform to our Drone Land Search Task Force classes. Their technology integrates live with CalTopo during large scale search and rescue missions, helping improve coordination, tracking, and real-time situational awareness in the field. ‼️ A busy couple of weeks of drone training wrapped up today with our indoor flying course for first responders at RCCC.

🚀 Pilots started in the classroom, then moved into simulator work before getting hands-on with micro drones. The day finished with real-world scenario FPV training inside a structure—searching for suspects and victims in tight spaces and long hallways.

👨‍🚒👮‍♂️🚀🎯 20 pilots from across the state participated in our Drone Mapping for Natural Disasters and Large Events class. During the training, pilots learned how to plan and execute autonomous drone mapping missions with precision and efficiency. Great job to everyone involved—your hard work and professionalism showed.
