🎉 Back to School Bash – FREE Community Event! 🎉
Join us on Saturday, August 1st, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a community Back to School Bash at East Moore Child Development Center!
This event is made possible by the incredible generosity of local businesses, organizations, churches, and volunteers who are donating their time and resources to help families prepare for the new school year.
Everything is completely FREE!
Families can enjoy:
📚 School supply giveaways
📖 Coloring books and Bibles donated by local churches and banks
✂️ FREE haircuts from two local salons
🎨 Face painting
👂 Hearing screenings
🗣️ Two speech therapy companies providing screenings
Physical Therapist resources
🧩 Occupational therapy resources
And many more giveaways and community resources!
We are still welcoming local organizations, businesses, churches, and community groups that would like to set up a FREE table to provide resources, activities, or giveaways to families. The only requirement is that everything offered must be completely free to the community. We will add names of all organizations on a flyer when we start advertising in two weeks.

🍩 Donuts with Dad 2026 🍩
Yesterday, we had a wonderful time celebrating Dads at East-Moore Child Development Center! It was such a blessing to see our children spending special time with their fathers, grandfathers, and other important father figures.
While we loved celebrating together, we also want to take a moment to recognize something even bigger. We are incredibly grateful for the dads and grandfathers who go above and beyond for our center throughout the year.
Whether it’s helping with IT issues, assembling equipment, setting up before events, cleaning up after parties, fixing things that break, moving heavy items when they see us trying to lift something we probably shouldn’t be, or simply stepping in whenever help is needed you make a difference.
Your willingness to serve, support, and lend a hand helps make East-Moore a better place for our children, families, and staff. Many of the things that happen behind the scenes would not be possible without your generosity, hard work, and caring hearts.
Thank you for being present, involved, and always willing to help when needed. We appreciate each and every one of you more than words can express.
Happy Father’s Day to all of our amazing dads, grandfathers, and father figures! We are blessed to have you as part of the East-Moore family. ❤️

🎬🍿 Family Movie Night at East-Moore Child Development Center 🍿🎬
Friday night was about so much more than watching a movie, it was about spending quality time together, building relationships, and creating memories that will last long after the credits roll.
In today’s busy world, families often find themselves rushing from one activity to the next. Taking time to slow down, laugh together, share a snack, and simply enjoy each other’s company is so important. These moments help strengthen family bonds, build trust, and create a sense of belonging for children.
At East-Moore Child Development Center, we believe that strong families create strong communities. We love providing opportunities for our children and families to connect, not only with each other but also with other families in our center. The friendships and support systems built through these events are just as valuable as the activities themselves.
Thank you to all of the families who joined us for Family Movie Night. We are grateful to be part of your village and look forward to making many more memories together this summer!
