The children began learning about flowers, seeds and root vegetables. Here we added flowers to colored water. The next day we observed the flowers changing colors.

The jellybean store was open for business. The children were given 5 pennies to buy jellybeans of their choice. Each flavor had a separate purchase price. They were able to learn about adding and subtracting their money and jellybeans. They also had the option to save their money for the next day.
