Hey guys! So although I don’t have my own studio I have recently made a new friend Alyssa Thomsen who HAS a studio! She is kind enough to let me rent her space on a as needed basis. Cool, right?

So imagine the photo below with a Christmas tree, maybe stockings? A wreath? That couch or a red chair.

If you would be interested in Christmas minis and are willing to travel to Valley City I am thinking about a Saturday or Sunday in November.

When doing "lifestyle" type photos the key is to keep it casual and to incorporate things that make your family unique. These guys love basketball so taking them to the court was not a tall ask. We got so many fun shots, changed clothes and got some more serious photos at the end. Thanks for going along with Aunties crazy ideas!!

I got together with one of my favorite families. They recently added another precious little girl to their gang and she literally smiled the whole time we were together. Dad got to skip work for a little morning shoot with us and in a half hour we got the job done. Sage made my job so easy. She was a natural behind the lens and even her animals were into having their photos taken! If I have ever taken your photo then you know I'm always backing up and I never look behind me I just assume I'm good to go. Well this time I wasn't. I backed up and I backed right into THE CUTEST DONKEY EVER. Lars followed me the whole night and wanted my love the entire time. I really would've taken the donkey as payment if he would've been offered😉
