A gripping yarn: inside the Knitting.com drama Two business bros announced plans to launch a knitting site. The crafting community is blasting their “cishet white” male approach.

So, I want to do this for Christmas--GIANT crocheted granny square Christmas Tree and put it outside MadCo Dance Studio in downtown Monticello, FL. If you want to help crochet granny squares, let me know. I'll send you a pattern and hook size so they are all the same size. You can adjust your hook if you crochet too tight or too loose to fit my measurements. Weave in your ends! Then mail them to me by Nov. 20 so I can sew them together by the first weekend of December for the Downtown Christmas Activities in Monticello, FL! You can use any colors you want, but include at least one of the following colors in your squares: red, green, white, or yellow --so it ties together. I'll put your name on the tree as a contributor. After it comes down, I'll cut the squares apart, wash, and make blankets or lapghans to donate to Senior Centers, nursing homes or shelters. Sign up below! You can live anywhere to participate!
