☀️🌻Great news! Nature Based Day Camps has partnered with Monticello Parks and Rec to bring your children ages 4-8 seven different day camps this summer!
1. All About Nature
2. All About Animals
3. Wood work/ outdoor crafts/ painting
4. Let’s Get Dirty (mud, water and sand exploration)
5. Sticks and Stones
6. Builders, Diggers and crafty creatures
7. Field trip week( farm, Pinicon park and Central park).

Camps will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 9-11am. Sign up for one or all 7! Keep an eye out for sign up information on this fb page and Monticello Parks and Recs fb page!
Excited to have your children join me this summer!
(Our numbers will be smaller this year- taking 8 4-5yr olds and 10 6-8yr olds. Woodworking etc session will have 6 spaces open for 4-5 yr olds so we can provide smaller group assistance.)

Did you know that occupational therapists will often have children go upside down, spin in circles, and swing in various positions in order to help children develop a strong balance sense and improve attention?

Let children play outdoors often, where the natural landscape both inspires and challenges the senses and muscles. 💪❤️

Hi! Quick introduction for those who may not know me! My name is Trish and I have lived in Monticello for 8 yrs. I have a 15yr old son and have worked at a private preschool as their director and preschool teacher since I moved here. I have over 30 years of experience working with children from birth to middle school.
I love the outdoors in all types of weather! Earlier this year I came across a fb post about an outdoor based preschool program in WI and I was hooked! Ive been taking continuing Ed classes, reading books, following other outdoor early childhood programs and am setting up visits to some in WI, IA and IL.
I am so excited to offer outdoor play based week long camps this summer! Stay tuned!
