Drew Central School District will be closed tomorrow Friday August 21 due to continued power outages and inability to restore power following the recent storm.

UAM will also be closed as well so concurrent credit and collegiate academy students do not need to report for classes held on the UAM campus.

The Sr High Football Benefit Game at Hamburg will still be played as scheduled at the current time. Kickoff is scheduled for 6pm and the theme is a White Out. If you can please make the short trip south on 425 to Hamburg to support the Pirates as we kick off the 2026 season!

Drew Central High School started the 2026–2027 school year off right with our Back-to-School Pep Rally! The energy in the gym was incredible as our DCHS Cheerleaders, Pirate Band, and Student Council helped get everyone fired up and ready for an outstanding year!

There’s nothing quite like seeing our students come together, show their Pirate Pride, and celebrate what it means to be part of Drew Central. We have so much to look forward to this year, and today was just the beginning!

As we continue Building Our Pirate Legacy Together, I want to issue one challenge to every student across the Drew Central School District:

Our Alma Mater is more than just a song—it represents our school, our traditions, our pride, and the generations of Pirates who have come before us. Let’s make sure the next generation of Pirates knows it and proudly carries that tradition forward!

The halls have been a little too quiet, and we’re ready to welcome our students back to DCHS!

📚 The first day of school is Monday, August 10!

A new school year means new opportunities, new challenges, new memories, and another chapter in the story of Drew Central High School. This year, we’re focused on Building Our Pirate Legacy Together—and every student and staff member has a part in that legacy.

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, we’re challenging every Pirate to:
