The 5K not only increases awareness of children food insecurity in our local community, but it’s also a fundraiser to raise funding for the purchase of non-perishable food for the Feeding Hands Backpack Program. We are off to an amazing start and would like to thank the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Beta Nu Omega Chapter, Margie Yeaton and the Federally Employed Women, The Links, Inc. Montgomery Chapter, and the True Divine Community Senior Center and Church family for their generous donations. A huge thanks also go out to those who volunteer weekly to help with the shopping, sorting, packing and delivery of the bags of non-perishable food for the distribution to over 240 local school children. We feel extremely blessed to be part of such a loving and compassionate community of givers. THANK YOU!!!!

Montgomery Feeding Hands Backpack Program will host its 1st PACK PARTY for the 2015-2016 school year on Thursday September 10, 2015 at the Community Development Center located at True Divine Baptist Church

Montgomery Feeding Hands Backpack Program needs your help!!! The Food Drive has resumed and the following items are in great need: Ravioli, Spaghetti O's, and Mac & Cheese.

All Donations can be dropped off at the Community Development Center located at True Divine Baptist Church

Donations can be placed in the Feeding Hands Backpack Program box Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and Sunday after each service.

True Divine Community Development and Montgomery Feeding Hands Backpack Program would like to give a huge THANKS to the Youth Leadership, Wanda Sanford, and all the children from Shiloh Baptist Church for their donation. They exceeded their goal by collecting over 300 cans of Ravioli for the Feeding Hands Backpack Program!!! What an IMPACT this will make!!
