Good evening PJHS Families,

Thank you again to everyone who joined us for Open House. We truly appreciate your time, presence, and continued partnership. For families who were unable to attend, we look forward to welcoming you to Percy L. Julian High School very soon.

As we continue working together to support student success, we are asking for your help in reinforcing an important message at home: Percy Julian High School is a place of learning, growth, and opportunity. Fighting, disorderly conduct, and behavior that disrupts the learning environment will not be tolerated.

We want every student to feel safe, supported, and able to focus on learning each day. Achieving that goal requires a strong partnership between the school and our families. Please talk with your student about making positive choices, resolving conflicts appropriately, following school expectations, and treating others with respect.

We believe Percy Julian can be a place where all students and families soar, but we cannot do it without you. Thank you for standing with us as we work to create the safe, orderly, and academically focused school environment our students deserve.

Our teachers never stop learning so our scholars can keep growing. On Friday, September 18, all MPS schools will be closed while our dedicated educators and staff head into a day of professional development to sharpen their skills for our classrooms. We appreciate our team’s constant commitment to excellence and can’t wait to welcome our students back on Monday!

Hello PJHS Families,

Friday, September 18, 2026, will be an asynchronous learning day. Students will learn from home and should not report to campus.

Students are expected to:

• Log in to Schoology during the school day.
• Complete and submit all assigned work.
• Check Schoology and Rooms for teacher announcements and updates.
• Contact their teachers through Schoology or Rooms if assistance is needed.

Please encourage your student to remain engaged and complete all assignments. Thank you for supporting continued learning beyond the classroom.
