2026–2027 SPRING MAJOR LIVESTOCK VALIDATION DATES

Attention Lake Creek FFA exhibitors! It's time to start preparing for the 2026–2027 Spring Major Livestock Shows including Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, and Rodeo Austin.

If your animal has not already been validated, please mark your calendars!

📅 Heifer Validation (Montgomery County Fairgrounds)

🕓 4:00–7:00 PM

📅 Lamb & Goat Validation (Montgomery County Fairgrounds)
🗓️ Tuesday, October 27, 2026
🕓 4:00–7:00 PM

📅 Swine Validation (Montgomery County Fairgrounds)
🗓️ Thursday, November 19, 2026
🕓 4:00–7:00 PM
(The deadline for Swine tag orders will be later, but you may turn in at this time)

📌 Tag Order Deadline: August 20, 2026

Whether you're interested in showing livestock, leadership, floral design, baking, creative arts, ag mechanics (welding), wildlife, wool, public speaking, community service, judging teams or making lifelong friends, FFA has something for everyone!

Interested in showing livestock? You don't need to have land or keep your livestock animal at home! Montgomery ISD offers a state-of-the-art Agricultural Science Center where students can house and care for their livestock while gaining hands-on experience and support from our agricultural science teachers.
