🚐🌟 OUR STAARS ARE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP! 🌟🚐
Our beloved STAAR van needs repairs, and this time we’re letting our STAARs tell you just how much they need it. ❤️
This van is so much more than transportation. It is a lifeline to our community.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, we use our van to take our STAARs throughout the community to provide community service, learn important life and social skills, and experience what it means to give back to others.We also use it to transport some of our STAARs home when transportation is needed.
But it doesn’t stop there.
Our van takes us to activities, social outings, job-readiness experiences, community events, and learning opportunities throughout Montgomery and the River Region. It helps give our STAARs access to experiences that build confidence, independence, friendships, and a sense of belonging.
Simply put, when our van is down, it limits where our STAARs can go and what we can do.
So today, we are asking our community to help us get our beloved STAAR van FIXED and back on the road! 🚐💨
