The creation of the United States of America stood as a symbol of freedom from tyranny and oppression. It is with this in mind that the U.S. should strive for the freedom of all of its citizens. We are not free until we are all free. Purple or Gold, what unites us all is the fight for freedom!

“From the moment I talked to gold side at the college night mixer It felt like I was home and I was welcomed with open arms. The more and more golds I talked to throughout the year and got to know I could just tell that gold side was where I belonged. I also had quite a few friends on gold side which was not the main part of my decision but it definitely helped gold side to feel like home.”

“I was purple when I first heard of college night. I was purple all the way up until the mixer in September of last year, where I showed up in full purple gear. Pants, shirt, jacket, shoes, the whole 9 yards. I went up to speak to Julianna, because I just knew her the best out of everyone else there. After talking with her for a while, she sent me off to talk to a whole number of people. I realised as I spoke to all of these people, I connected with them a whole lot more than I did a lot of other purples. Gold just felt a lot more welcoming to me, and I’m so glad I switched.”

What’s better than one Summer gig? Two! Daniel is keeping himself busy this Summer at Huntsville Animal Services and Fantasy Playhouse. At HAS, Daniel socializes cats and helps them find their furever family! Daniel also leads children through activities and assists with pickup and drop off at Fantasy Playhouse. The work you’re doing will touch so many lives. Keep it up, Daniel! 🐾🦁
