When I was a kid, posters were everything, they were what I used to daydream about riding somewhere cool, beyond my home of Kentucky. I remember so many from my favorite pro riders, iconic bike and snowboard shots that lived on my wall. Last month I needed a photo for the Canyon Pure Cycling event at their HQ in Germany, I didn’t have much time and wanted it to be something really cool and unique. Also I knew that Fabio Wibmer Sam Pilgrim Braydon Bringhurst Lukas Schäfer and the rest of the team would be there, so it had to be something sick. Our backyard waterslide seemed like the perfect spot, and getting the dog in there chasing me made it just a bit more normal and human. First Milo Porter shot it with me riding on a cloudy day, but the color wasn’t great, so when we had a nice sunset the next night I had Owen Porter get the shot cause Milo was out riding trail. Hopefully this is something people are stoked on and it’ll live on their walls for years to come and inspire the next generation to do cool stuff! Also, thanks again Matthew Beringer for the slides, always grateful to keep them alive and ripping!
