⚾🥎 BUILDING A LASTING LEGACY — MBSA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 🥎⚾

The Monroeville Baseball & Softball Association (MBSA) is proud to announce the creation of two lasting scholarships for Gateway High School graduating seniors who have played baseball or softball in Monroeville:

⚾ MBSA Jim Boehm Baseball Scholarship
🥎 MBSA Softball Scholarship

The baseball scholarship is being dedicated in honor of Jim Boehm — husband to Dana, father to Tyler, Mason, and Nolan, longtime MBA equipment manager, and a passionate coach and advocate for Monroeville youth baseball.

Jim coached for approximately 18 years, managed teams that played in Cooperstown, and believed every kid deserved the opportunity to play, have fun, learn the game, and feel like they belonged. All three of his sons went on to play collegiate baseball, with Jim proudly supporting them as their #1 fan.

These scholarships are about more than baseball and softball. They are about community, opportunity, player development, and investing in the future of the young athletes who have been part of MBSA.

We hope these scholarships become a lasting part of MBSA for generations to come.

⚾🥎 The game continues. The legacy continues. ⚾🥎

Today’s Clinic is cancelled due to Municipality shutting the fields down due to outfield conditions as a result of the excess rain we’ve had.

Rescheduling times will be sent as soon as they are known.
