I have been given permission to share this with all the locals in our community. I worked with Ian and I had a personal relationship with he and his amazing family outside of school. This hit very hard last week and I’m thankful that the Ash/Tully family has allowed me to share it.

Ian Robert Tully
June 7, 1998-July 7, 2026
Ian Robert Tully was born in Corvallis, Oregon to Connie M. Ash and Charles D. Tully. During his short time on earth he was thrown many curve balls, yet he continued on with enjoying life and bringing laughter to those around him.
Ian had it figured out. He lived simply. He loved his dog, his pony, his home, football, westerns and any kind of music…but most of all he loved his people, and if those people were with him at the beach, there was nothing better.
Ian went to Monroe Grade School through 8th grade and graduated from Philomath High School in 2017. During his brief life he was a true warrior. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and support workers at CEI and Work Unlimited in Corvallis.
Ian is survived by his parents, his brother Isaac, many cousins, aunts and uncles whom he loved dearly.
Ian will live on forever in our hearts and is sorely missed. His ashes will be scattered at the Oregon coast and a Celebration of Life will be in late spring of 2027.
Memorial contributions can be sent to ARC of Benton County, The National Down Syndrome Society, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital or The Lennox Gastaut Foundation.
Arrangements have been made through DeMoss-Durdan of Corvallis.

Karen Marie Lascurain O’Rourke, class of 1976-passed away in 2013.
