Alyssa Flowers' private music studio Alyssa Flowers is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
She has a Bachelor's Degree in Music, Vocal Performance with a Musical Theatre Concentration. She is a professional actress, and has performed all over the country, as well as internationally. She has been teaching piano and voice to students for over 3 years now, and has had more than 35 students since she started teaching. VOICE/PIANO LESSON SYLLABUS FOR JOYFUL NOISE MUSIC STUDIO:
* Ages 7- Adu

* Private lessons are either 30 minutes or one hour a week, depending on your level and needs.
* Vocal lessons include technique, proper warm-ups, sheet music, vocal placement, pronunciation of vowels and consonants, and working on pitch and range. We will also work on performance techniques, and learn how to perform onstage in front of an audience with professionalism. We will work in styles of contemporary, classical, and musical theater.
*Piano lessons include note recognition, value, learning scales, and melodies with both hands, as well as music theory to go along with it.
*Theory tutoring includes one-on-one theory training (in preparation for high school or college music classes) or if you're just interested in learning about music. We will learn notes, rhythms, how music is written,
and more. Includes take-home worksheets.
*Students will need a 3-ring binder to keep all music/worksheets/notes/etc in. Along with the binder, students need looseleaf paper for their assignments to be written on.
*If available, please bring a recording device to record lessons with. (This will allow the student to practice on their own with the recording)
*Payments are due the first lesson of every month.
*If taking individual (not weekly) lessons, pay is due at the beginning of every lesson.
*Lessons are $30.00 per hour, and $18.75 per half-hour. ($120 a month for hour-long lessons, and $75 a month for 30 minute lessons) (Price includes sheet music for voice and piano lessons and theory worksheets for theory tutoring)
*Lessons are held at my home, in the music studio.
*Students must have a willingness to practice and a good attitude in order to succeed and grow in their art.
*Aside from working on your instrument, we will also study basic music theory for a better understanding of music.
*If you will absent from a lesson, a makeup lesson will need to be scheduled ASAP.
*MAKE-UP POLICY:
If a student misses a lesson, and does not inform me at least 4 hours ahead of their lesson time, a makeup lesson will not be included in your monthly lesson fee. Furthermore, if a student schedules a make-up lesson, and does not come to that lesson, a $10 fee will be added to the next month’s bill. If you are to be absent from a lesson, it is imperative that you let me know ahead of time.
