Hello to all my beautiful young ladies of Sun Valley! I hope you are gearing up for the next Miss Sun Valley pageant coming up in Fall 2014.
It was a difficult decision to say good-bye to this special program in September, but with my own family expanding and going in many different directions as my own children spread their wings to fly....I knew it was time to enjoy the blessings of being a mother with no obligations outside of my own family. With that said.... It has been the greatest honor and pleasure to meet you, work with you and grow you close to my heart. I am truly grateful for all the support and all the encouragement I received from you along the way. Even though I will miss "my beauties" and this great program, I am looking forward to a new challenge and to starting a new phase of my life. You are my heroes, my role models and my FRIENDS. Much love and success to all! Keep shining!

As we finish up the last of the duties for our 2013 Miss Sun Valley title holders, it presents a wonderful time to thank each of you for the beautiful job you did representing your title, your school, your community and your family. I could not be more proud of the women you are....keep striving for a better tomorrow, aim high, remember back on those that love you dearly and never forget the gift you are to us all. Come celebrate the start of the holiday season and support our very own Miss Carrousel Sun Valley, Chelsey Rodriguez as she goes for the title of Union County Parade Princess/Alex Kahle Memorial Scholarship.
The crowning ceremony is this Thursday, Nov. 7th at the Shops at Nottingham (Monroe).
We are so proud of Chelsey and the extraordinary resume she has assembled over her 4 years of high school....with both academics, club leadership, community service and athletics. She gave an impressive interview to the panel of judges on Thursday night...showing them what a wonderful representative she would be for Union County as their Parade Princess.
Join us for refreshments starting at 5:30 followed by the crowning at 6:00.
