Boys's Youth Summer Basketball Camp is being held in the HS Gym this week from July 20th-22nd. K-2nd grade is from 8:30-9:30am and 3rd-8th is 9:45am-12:00pm.

Varsity Softball will play a State Playoff consolation game vs West Liberty at 10:45am. at Iowa Central Field - Roger's Park in Fort Dodge. Purchase tickets here: https://www.gobound.com/ia/ighsau/softball/2025-26/tickets

The PCM Community School District is currently seeking signatures on a petition to add a bond referendum question (see below) on the November ballot. Eligible PCM voters can sign the petition at the following locations:

PCM District Office (located in Prairie City)
PCM High School Office (located in Monroe)
Prairie Days (July 24 and 25 in Prairie City)
Old Settlers (August 7 and 8 in Monroe)

Signing the petition does not indicate support for the referendum. It simply allows the proposal to move forward for community consideration and a public vote.

Referendum question on the petition: Shall the Board of Directors of the PCM Community School District in the Counties of Jasper, Polk, and Marion, State of Iowa, be authorized to contract indebtedness and issueGeneral Obligation Bonds in an amount not to exceed $14,195,000 to provide funds to remodel, repair, improve, and equip the Monroe campus, including classroom and career and technical education spaces; to build, furnish, and equip an addition to the Monroe campus, including a multipurpose performance gymnasium, support spaces, and site improvements; and to improve the Prairie City campus site, including playgrounds and parking?

ATTENTION: The registration window for the 2026–27 school year is open through this Saturday, July 18. Log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to get started. By registering during the window, you help the district finalize details for the upcoming school year.

You can also sign up your students for all sports and activities they plan to participate in for the upcoming school year! Log in to gobound.com to begin the activities registration process. All high school and middle school students must be registered before beginning required practices and rehearsal for fall activities.
