I'm Justin, and I've been playing guitar for more than 15 years. During that time, I've:

✅ Played both acoustic and electric guitar in dozens of bands, musical lineups and worship teams
✅ Performed in front of hundreds of people in a variety of settings
✅ Been a paid musical worship leader
✅ Written many of my own songs
✅ Mentored aspiring musicians

And now, I'm offering you an exciting opportun

ity to begin your musical journey. What if you could learn the basics of guitar in just 3-6 months, without paying ridiculously high prices? If you live in Monmouth/Independence and you'd like some BEGINNER GUITAR LESSONS, I offer the following:

Individual lessons (1 hour) - $60 per weekly session
✅ One-on-one guitar lessons, customized based on your musical background. While we'll touch on some basics of music theory, we'll primarily be focusing on the practical: how to play basic chords, strum patterns and arpeggios, how to use chord sheets, and how to play new songs. (Once you learn just a handful of tunes, you'll be surprised at how many more you can quickly pick up!)

Group lessons with 2-4 people (1 hour) - $45 per person for each weekly session
✅ If you bring 2 or 3 friends to your lessons, I'll give a $10 discount per person (plus, learning in groups is lots of fun)! We'll go over the same material as the Individual Lessons, but you'll have the added benefit of asking questions together and learning as a community. Why put off your musical dreams any longer? Summer’s here, and it’s a great time to finally start learning guitar! 🎸 I’m offering lessons for beginners here in Monmouth / Independence and I have space for 1 or 2 more students.

I’ve been playing for over 15 years—performing in bands, leading music, and writing my own songs. Now I love teaching others the basics and helping them become confident musicians.

LEARN GUITAR WITH ME. My lessons are one-on-one and tailored to your background, whether you’ve never touched a guitar or already know a few things. We’ll cover some light music theory, but mostly focus on the practical—chords, strumming patterns, arpeggios, how to use chord sheets, and how to play real songs. (Once you learn a few, it gets easier than you think!)

COST: $50 for a weekly 1-hour session. I also offer small group lessons for $40/person if you’ve got friends who want to learn together.

Unlike many music teachers, I’m flexible with scheduling—you only pay for the weeks we actually meet. No charge for missed lessons.

LOCATION: I typically teach lessons at a church I work at in Monmouth, but may be able to drive to you if needed (depending on location).
