Welcome to the page of the WOU Marching Band! This group has a blast playing pep band and drumline music, and anyone can join despite your major or experience.

Want to join us? Send us a message. The WOU drumline founded in 2012 consists of mostly music majors looking to have a blast playing drumline music. About half the group are percussionists and the rest probably got convinced to participate due to relentless hounding and or they just wanted to be in something cool. Anyways anyone can participate in the drumline despite your major so please come find us!! We are always looking to add more people to the line!!!

Hey everybody! It’s Hannah, the social media coordinator and bass girl! I apologize for not posting in so long; I hope everyone had a great first week of classes! Question for y’all: would anyone be open to meeting over Zoom once every few weeks as a sort of support group/social hangout? I want to know how we can help support you all during this time. Since we are not meeting in person this term and are in different locations, I would love to have your input on what the band and color guard could look like in the future and share your experiences from last year! Hello everyone! Basketball season is coming to an end, and we want to show some spirit! This week, the Western Oregon University Color Guard has three performances- one at halftime tonight at 7:30pm; the drumline will be playing during the game at 5:15pm. They also have two this Saturday- 2pm () and 4:15pm () during the doubleheader; the band and the drumline will play during both games. Have an awesome day everybody and come show support for the basketball teams, the color guard, the band, and the drumline!

We had a great time playing at the WOU women’s basketball game last Tuesday! We are looking forward to playing at the men’s basketball game tonight at 7:30pm in New PE! Go Wolves!

Hello folks! We are looking forward to marching in the 52nd annual Holiday Tree Lighting Parade this Friday at 6pm! We also will be performing Saturday morning at the second annual Monmouth Making Spirits Bright! We encourage everyone in the Monmouth/Independence community to attend and enjoy these performances, as well as the other several fun activities and events happening during and after the parade and celebration! ‪Football season may be over, but marching band has only just begun! We are excited to march in the Tree Lighting Parade on campus this December 6th!
