Child Care Substitutes of Oregon

Child Care Substitutes of Oregon Child Care Substitutes of Oregon is a statewide child care substitute pool for home & center based child cares.

Housed at Western Oregon University and funded by Oregon's Department of Early Learning and Care. CCSO recruits, hires, and trains eligible substitutes and uses a web platform (in development) to match them to child care programs throughout the state. CCSO aims to serve programs most in need of substitutes: programs in rural areas, with diverse languages and cultures, and family child care program

s. CCSO will recruit substitutes from diverse backgrounds and languages to provide comprehensive care to children and families. This program will ensure that the most vulnerable programs do not need to close due to illness, vacation, accessing professional development, or other needs that programs deserve to take time off for.

We would like to inform you that our database system for posting childcare jobs is currently down.
Our database designer, Work Life Systems, is working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue. We anticipate that the system will likely be back up and running tomorrow morning.
We encourage all providers to try posting their jobs again in the morning. We will also notify everyone as soon as the system is fully restored and available for use.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this temporary outage may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to get the system back up and running.
