Logan Families Update
It was wonderful to see our students back for a successful start to the school year. Please review the following updates regarding school procedures and upcoming events.
Communication
Weekly Updates: Expect a summary every Monday prior to the start of school via ClassDojo.
Accessibility: Important information will be provided in text format to ensure the translation feature is available for all families.
Direct Contact: You may reach me via ClassDojo for general inquiries. For urgent matters, please contact the main office directly.
Building Community & Events
This week, we are focusing on school-wide expectations and introducing "Fun-Friday." We also invite all Kindergarten families to our Kindergarten Family Night this Thursday at 5:30 PM to meet the teachers and learn about the year ahead.
Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
To ensure student safety, only students and staff are permitted on the blacktop. Parents are welcome to wait outside the perimeter fence. Our staff will be present to assist students during the "Super Start" transition.
While parking is limited, following these protocols ensures an efficient and safe environment for everyone:
Here are the guidelines-
Traffic Flow: Enter via 25th Street and exit via 26th Street (right turn only).
Parking Restrictions: No street parking is allowed on 17th Ave or 25th Street. 16th Avenue is a one-way street during school hours.
Drop-Off Zones: Use the 25th Street blacktop entrance for quick drop-offs; please do not park in this zone.
Student Safety: Students should never walk through the parking lot. Please encourage walkers to use sidewalks and the 25th Street gate.
Note: Unauthorized parking or standing creates blind spots that endanger our students. We appreciate your cooperation in prioritizing safety over convenience.
Please refer to the attached map for designated "Good Choice" (Green) and "Bad Choice" (Red) areas.
