Join us next Tues. Dec. 10, 2024 for the Simultaneous Chess Exhibition w/ David Rodriguez where he will be playing up to 25 players at the same time to raise money for Leathernecks Chess Club . Come play a friendly game against one of our best chess club players, with a peak rating of 2315. Money raised will go towards snacks and drinks for our future chess tournaments that are open to all ages and the public!

♟️Where: Western Illinois University-Quad Cities 3300 River Drive, Moline, IL 61265 rooms 103 and 104

♟️Time: 5:30pm to 9pm the latest. Games begin promptly at 5:45pm due to time crunch.

♟️Cost: $7 to participate

♟️Prize: The 1st player to win against David (if anyone can 😎) will win a one-of-a-kind, WIU purple and gold chess set made by WIU-QC engineering students!
