We are excited to welcome everyone back for another great school year at Grace M. Davis High School!
As we prepare for the first day, here are a few important reminders:
📅 Important Dates
• August 7 at 4:00 PM – Student schedules will be available in PowerSchool.
• August 11 – First Day of School!
⏰ Be On Time
Success starts with being present! Please plan ahead each morning so you arrive on campus with enough time to get to class. All students should be in their 1st period classroom by 8:30 AM.
📱 New Cell Phone Policy
Beginning this school year, all cell phones and other signal-emitting devices (smart watches, earbuds/AirPods, Meta glasses, etc.) must be turned off and kept in backpacks during the entire instructional day—from before 1st period begins until after 7th period ends. This policy helps create a learning environment where students can stay focused, engaged, and successful. Please review the attached poster for additional details and consequences.
Let's make this an amazing school year by coming to school prepared, on time, and ready to learn!
And do not forget to Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible.
