Dear 2022 LPE members, coming up and graduating! I would like to congratulate you and, apologize to you all, on behalf of the department, for the lack of appropriate laurels at this year’s ceremony. You were all due to receive red-and-white honorary cords and induction certificates, as in all past years. Btw, LPE is not an honors society of comm arts, as you were told at this year’s ceremony, but a nationwide Communication Studies organization within NCA, the National Communication Association. There are numerous opportunities you guys are eligible for, and I would encourage you to research them and apply for, to advance your career in Communications. All my best wishes to y’all!

Lambda Pi Eta, Psi Delta chapter

The charter for the Spring Hill College chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Honor Society, was approved in September of 2008.
LPH represents what Aristotle desribed as the three ingredients of persuasion: Logos, meaning logic (Lambda), Pathos, relating to emotion (Pi), & Ethos, defined as character (Eta). Members must have completed 60 semester hours in undergraduate credit courses, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, completed 12 semester hours in communication courses, and have at least a 3.25 GPA in communication.
Induction 2021. So much fun! Congratulations to all members, incoming and outgoing!
