The first year I pivoted my money coaching business online, I only made $397.

I desperately wanted a full client roster, so I went all out on my marketing.

I guested in group programs, I started a podcast, I posted content every day, I hosted live events... And hearing "You're so good at what you do!" or "I've never seen anyone teach this information the way you do!" was actually starting to sting. Bc the compliments far outweighed the cash.

Now, I know exactly what the problem was:

I was positioning my offer to the wrong person.

Maybe you read that and think "one little thing had you doing allll that work for less than 1k!?" Yup. That '1 little thing' can make sales an uphill battle, or a piece of cake. I knew I had something people needed, and wanted. I knew they trusted ME.

But people who would have actually been leads never even started the buyer's journey towards my offer- because it wasn't speaking to them at all.

There's a subset of people in EVERY niche... who are never going to pay you. They can't afford to, don't fully understand their problems yet, and can't envision the payoff for themselves.

I know you WANT to help them, but if you WANT to get paid? Shift that positioning, and start selling your offer to someone who's ready to buy it.

What if this little shift was the only thing keeping you from signing more clients that you love?

We all know, getting ghosted sucks. 👻😭

Going from super excited about getting a new client… only to be let down when your opened message sits there day, after day, sucks.

It’s something you will never eliminate completely as a business owner, but I want to shift your perspective on it. You might even appreciate getting ghosted after this. 🤷🏻‍♀️

That person ghosted you for 1 of 2 reasons on their end, and that will help you connect the dots for what you should do on YOUR end to prevent this from happening as often.

👉Maybe they ghosted because it’s not a priority to them right now. They inquired and forgot about it, overlooked it, or they simply just don’t value it enough after they heard the price.

Do you want to sign a client who’s priority is not solving this problem you help them solve, right now? No.

👉 Or maybe it happened because something changed financially, and they can no longer afford your services as easily. It may even be some money mindset stuff, or self-sabotage coming up for them around paying for this.

Again, do you want to sign, and work with, this client? No.

You want to work with clients who are ready to happily pay their invoice, and it doesn't put them in a bind or make them resent you to do it.

You probably know at this point the clients you're attracting is a messaging issue…

Learning how to fix it is the difference between spending another week begrudgingly checking marketing off your to-do list, or being confident that your business is gonna bring you clients you enjoy delivering your service to.
