End-of-Year Reminders

Closed for Lunch Visitors:
Due to end-of-year events and schedule changes, starting Monday, May 18, DLE will be closed to all lunch visitors for the remainder of the school year.

Last Day of School:
Our last day is Thursday, May 28, with early dismissal at 12:10 p.m.

Clinic Medication Pick Up:
If your student has medication in the school clinic, please make plans to pick it up by Thursday, May 28 at early dismissal (1:00 PM). A parent or guardian must come inside the clinic to pick up medications and complete the required sign-off paperwork. Medications cannot be sent home with students.

Per FBISD policy, any medication not picked up by the deadline will be properly disposed of. If you have questions, please contact the clinic at 281-327-3199.

Hello families. We have closely monitored the forecast and our original event date now has a 90% chance of rain. This event is special to us and we want to ensure it's able to run as planned. The new date is now Tuesday (tomorrow), May 26, 2026 from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm on the DLE Playground. We apologize for any planning inconvenience this may cause. We hope to see many of our families there.

Save the Date! Awards ceremonies are just around the corner. For arrival, all grade levels (except ABC/SAILS and 5th grade) will enter through Extended Day. Fifth grade families will enter through the cafeteria and ABC/SAILS families may check in at the front office.

To expedite the check in process, we ask all visitors to pre-register, by selecting the grade level appropriate link below. Pre registered guests will have the visitor badge sent home prior to the awards day and allow express entry. All guest who are not registered must check in prior to the event which may cause delayed entry. All visitors must have a valid ID on the day of the event.
