Closing out 2025 feeling so grateful for these amazing musicians and all of our studio families ❤️ the winter recital was one for the books! Can’t wait to see all the music + joy that the new year will bring! 🎉🎶

So excited to kick-off summer lessons this week! ☀️ Can’t wait to welcome new students, level-up with others and add in some fun pop books. (check out sweet Lucy dog in the corner…she had to help make sure all the new books were ready! 😂)

‘Twas the night before the recital…programs are folded, notes to students are written, gift bags are packed. All that’s left to do is perform! Can’t wait for our spring recital tomorrow evening 🎹💗

Had a blast in lessons this week with rhythm egg hunts! 🐣🎶 Students hunted for eggs around the studio and then performed the rhythm patterns they found inside. Their favorite part was hiding the eggs for the next student! 😊

Hi there! My name is Angela Van Court. I offer private piano and drum set lessons from my in-home studio in Missouri City, TX 🎹

A few things about me:
-I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the University of Houston (go coogs!) 🎓
-I spent 9 years as an elementary music teacher in public schools, before transitioning to teach piano full-time this year 🎶
-I’ve played classical piano for over 25 years and studied as a percussionist from middle school all the way thru college! 🥁
