Imagine a world where kids were socially and emotionally intelligent. Where they could manage their emotions, understand and practice empathy, self regulate, have healthy relationships and make responsible decisions. Our team at Pawsitively SEL believes in this type of world and our ability to grow it together. WHAT IF your class was the reason a boy didn't get bullied after school? WHAT IF you taught the skills that kept a child from engaging in risky behavior, and instead, gave her the confidence to choose a different path? HOW WOULD YOU FEEL knowing you were the reason kids in your class had higher self-esteem? WHAT IF you could do all this without finding any extra time in the school day. With the Pawsitively SEL Curriculum students work individually and collaboratively applying SEL skills to real world scenarios. And the best part is the curriculum is English Language Arts Common Core integrated so it can be taught during the school day during ELA time. Rhonda, founder of Pawsitively SEL has a passion for providing an avenue where teachers can easily incorporate SEL into their school day and where students have the opportunity to learn about and grow their social emotional intelligence.
