I'm beyond shocked and ecstatic to find this Volunteer native plant in my renegade garden! Wood Sorel has a bright lemon flavor that adds a huge pop of flavor to any dish! It's easy to identify with its fish shaped leaves, it is so easy to miss on the forest floor or in the garden because of its diminutive size. I will be doing everything I can to get this little patch to expand its range, wish me luck!
