The Culinology Scholarship Foundation is excited to open three scholarship opportunities today! 🎓️
🌟 Julie and Jerry McDonald Culinology Scholarship 🌟
The Julie and Jerry McDonald Culinology Scholarship was established to support and inspire the next generation of diverse people of color and/or female leaders in the food industry. A $5,000 scholarship will be awarded and presented at the 2027 RCA Annual Conference and Culinology Expo. Up to $2,500 (or half of the scholarship monies) may be used as a travel stipend to attend the conference.
🌟 Michele Block Memorial Scholarship 🌟
The Michele Block Memorial Scholarship was created by RCA and Darifair Foods (now Rubix Foods) in 2006 to honor the memory of Michele Block, a long-time member of the RCA and Vice President of Marketing for Darifair Foods, one of RCA's founding sponsors. This scholarship awards $3,000 plus a $1,500 travel stipend to attend the 2027 RCA Annual Conference and Culinology Expo
🌟 Chef Eric Koyama Student Scholarship - Sponsored by King's Hawaiian® 🌟
Chef Eric Koyama made a lasting impact at King’s Hawaiian as one of the first chefs in innovation and was instrumental in new product development. Chef Eric leaves a legacy of generosity, hard work and undeniable passion that lives on through this generous scholarship sponsored by King’s Hawaiian for students enrolled in RCA-approved Culinology degree programs at Kapiʻolani Community College and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. This scholarship provides a reimbursable stipend of up to $3,000 to to attend the 2027 RCA Annual Conference and Culinology Expo.
