As we welcome December, here is a friendly reminder that Friday, December 19, 2025, will be an early release day for all Mission CISD students and staff. This day also marks the beginning of Winter Break.

Early release schedule:
🗓️ Elementary: 12:00 p.m.
🗓️ Secondary: 12:45 p.m.
🗓️ Options and RAS: 12:45 p.m.

Central Office early release is set for 2:00 p.m.

It’s with a heavy heart that I share the tragic loss of Alejandro “Alex” De Luna — a proud military member, dedicated border patrol agent, and deeply loved son, brother, father and friend. Alex lost his life in a car accident, leaving behind a grieving family and a community that will forever remember his service and kind spirit.

In this unimaginable time, we’re coming together to support his family through a Meal Train. Providing a warm meal or sending a simple gesture of care can go a long way in lifting even a small part of their burden.
