Penn Robotics took a roadtrip to Wisconsin this past weekend and had the opportunity to compete with teams in a whole new territory at the Seven Rivers Regional Event. This event gave our team a good amount of experience and told us what we needed to take care of out of state before going to our state playoffs in a few weeks.
The Black Knights found themselves to be 3rd pick for the number 2 alliance in the playoffs. A huge Shoutout to alliance captain and second pick for having us a part of the alliance and showing some good midwest hospitality to us.
While not making it to the finals we were able to receive the honor of being awarded the Autonomous Award sponsored by Google.org by "offloading vision to an onboard Mac Mini, they used simulations to develop a Pathfinder that constantly checks for states so it can adapt to its surroundings."
A huge thank you to FIRST in Wisconsin for having us and allowing us to be apart of their culture. Looking forward to seeing the teams in Indiana at state!!

What better way to wrap up our short circuits season this year than our short circuits celebration where our students had the chance to show their families the code they have been working on over the last 4 weeks. A huge thank you to the PHM Education Foundation and various major sponsors for helping us continue to introduce the coding concept of STEM and Robotics to the the 2nd and 3rd graders in our community.
