Come Explore With Us

08/23/2026

We’re glad to have Scott and Sheila from Squatch Outfitters of North Georgia back here at Cornwallis 1828!

They’re on the property with us conducting field research and preparing for our upcoming Bigfoot Expedition — the first-ever Bigfoot Expedition held in Alabama’s historic Black Belt region.

There’s just something special about being outdoors after dark—listening to the woods come alive, observing wildlife, studying the surroundings, and doing real field research under the stars.

History. Nature. Adventure. Mystery.

The Alabama Black Belt is full of stories, history, wildlife, and unexplored places—and we’re excited to see what we may discover.
