What a successful group of makers! I was so pleasantly surprised at how much creative exploration there can be in such a simple project. They all went home saying they felt like felt soap experts. Two thumbs way up. 👍🏽 👍🏽

I spent the morning making a few samples for today’s class. If you didn’t get tickets it’s not too late! Walk-ins are welcome!

New class at The Foundry! This is a perfect little intro into the wonders of felting. They’re reusable and made of 100% natural fiber. Make a ton and you can have your very own shower zen garden.

Before there were washcloths and loofas, people used felted soap as a way to wash and exfoliate their skin. Felted soap is making a strong comeback and we are so excited to have Jessica with Wonderstudy offer this NEW class at The Foundry.

New year, who dis? Oh it’s me in my fancy new sweater. I’ve always loved the idea of slow fashion: making my own clothes for the perks of better fitting, 100% NON-synthetic garments. AND in case your wondering the fiber I’m using here is a wool/silk blend held together with a mohair/silk blend. The mohair is what gives it that effervescent halo of fuzz.

Hundreds of little tiny cable socks in the works.

Is it a bear? Is it a fox? The world may never know.

Fall knits don’t always have to be so moody. 🎈

I did some new sweater planning while on a 5 hour layover in Milwaukee and walked away drunk on silk and wool. If you’re ever in the area head over to the Knitting Knook. I finally got to see (and squeeze) all my favorite brands from Japan and Denmark in person. Seriously I can’t help touching literally everything at the yarn store.
