Speakers are Dr. Steve Barnett, senior director and co-founder of the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) at Rutgers University; and Dr. Arthur Reynolds, director of the Chicago Longitudinal Study and professor in the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota. Commenting on the talks will be Dr. Karen Bierman of Penn State University.

The speakers will look back at the Perry Preschool Project and the Chicago Longitudinal Study, and how these landmark studies can still inform today’s policymakers on early childhood education.
