Tips for today…✅
I’m just now developing healthier habits to help stop my frequent burnout. Sharing what’s worked for me so it can help you, too♥️
I know scrolling feels normal, natural, or even instinctive at times. I also know that scrolling means that we’re likely to increase engagement or our following in general if that’s the goal.
But have you ever thought about how often you do it?
When we scroll often, we’re comparing our lives to others without even realizing it. Our bodies, our lifestyles, our careers, our journeys, our futures...you name it.
So, I encourage you (and myself) to limit the amount of time you spend on your timeline this week. You might even notice how much more self-worth you feel just by breaking that habit.
Remember, joy and confidence is key in protecting your spirit and achieving anything you set your mind to.
Just a little Thursday tip for ya! 👋🏽

Missing the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica already ☀️
I can’t express enough the impact that 6 months of traveling had on my growth.
It wasn’t about the adrenaline of new experiences. It was about the awareness I gained from them.
I became aware of the things I was so blind to before. Of course those outer things - like people, the environment, and culture.
But also those inner things: the very present unhealthy habits and obsessive thought patterns that started to show when I no longer had distractions or crutches I was so used to clinging to back home.
Growing in awareness has ultimately changed my perspective about myself and how I live my life. and THAT has been such a beautiful gift.
When I did return home, I remember thinking: what does it look like for me to continue this growth without needing anything but God?
No travel. No distractions. No crutches. No monetary desires or selfish ambitions.
What does consistent growth truly look like with just Jesus alone?
I encourage you to ask yourself that same question. I’ve learned, from experience, that this is where our true and best selves begin to show.
Much love, friends ❤️

My beautiful mama ❤️ happy birthday to the woman who taught me everything I need to know to become a strong, hard-working and compassionate human being.
My mom I only get to see each other about twice a year. She actually reminded me the other day that it’s been years since we’ve seen each other for longer than a week at a time. A mother and daughter living in different countries will do that to you.
That’s why I’m so grateful to get to spend 6 full weeks with you, mama, in Costa Rica AND have the joy of celebrating your birthday with you while we’re at it!
Cheers to you, my life long inspiration🥂❤️ 🎉

Yes, these are real books. Yes, I was completely fascinated. And yes, the next time I visit I will most likely spend way more money than I need to on vintage books alone...all because of the beauty in disarray I’ve found here. Thanks for a wonderful experience !
And speaking of books...I’m looking for a new novel to read. Any suggestions? Drop em! 👇🏽

Hey friends 👋🏽 it’s been a little while since I posted. What a busy month! Last week, I said goodbye to LA and hello to Portland. A beautiful external transition, but a difficult internal one.
Solo traveling isn’t just about sight seeing, trying new foods, and experiencing different things.
It’s also about the hard stuff. Taking time to heal, grow, and figure out your deeply rooted issues so you can truly help others with theirs.
For me, it’s an entire faith-based journey in itself and I can’t wait to continue sharing it with you. The good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful...all of it.
I hope my story inspires you along the way.
Much love, always!

It’s officially been two weeks since I’ve been in LA as the start of my digital nomad travel journey. Things I’ve learned?
People: Could care less of what others think, which is incredibly refreshing. From the styles, to the ambitious statements given in conversations, to exercising their passions publicly without asking for anything in return (I’ve specifically watched tightrope walkers, acrobats, Hoola hoopers, and violinists...so much talent!)
Culture: Ethnically diverse. Artistic. Linked with the lure of success (pretty self-explanatory).
Favorite Sites: Venice beach without a doubt. Filled with so much art and culture that you see in the lives of others walking around you and the buildings sitting right across from the ocean. I still have some exploring to do, so stay tuned for more fav sites coming your way!
Outreach: haven’t started it yet, but I’ll soon be volunteering with UCLA to help healthcare workers with daily household responsibilities while they’re on shift. Really looking forward to the experience. If you happen to live in LA or will be visiting soon, take a few hours out of your day to lend a helping hand. Just head to lacovidvolunteers.com to find out more.
Lengthy update, but that’s it for now! More to come soon 👋🏽

Believe me, I get it. You want to change your monetary situation in 2021. You need sustainable stability. You desire financial freedom.
But what do all of those ambitions have in common? They're outcomes. Not the cause.
Focus on your mind FIRST. Build internal happiness FIRST. You'd be amazed at how much your situation will change when you take intentional time to develop your mind and spirit.
Let God show you how.
Happy Sunday, friends! 🙏
