Affirming Reading Tutor

When a child has a LD it is so important for the adults in their lives to build them up, to focus on their strengths. Meet their struggles with compassion, hope and understanding. Help them find those things that bring them joy, that place where they feel successful. I’m here to offer support and compassion.

Getting support for your dyslexic learner is difficult. There are waitlists and the cost of a tutor is high. I was a teacher and am currently the home educator of three dyslexic learners. I provide more affordable one on one in person sessions in my home. In person sessions provide more feedback and more opportunities for connections leading to more effective sessions. This is the most effective way to teach dyslexia learners the skills they need to become more effective readers and writers.
